According to this information, a natural handshake is used, which is usually considered a drawback, to improve the quality of the material shot. Thanks to the physical tremors of the hands, the smartphone camera, besides the main picture, does a couple of new frames, but from a little bit different.

The algorithm then begins processing all images by detecting the areas of the photo with static objects and overlaying them in the final frame, ignoring some areas of moving objects that will have artifacts in the central structure.


After all, the smartphone delivers significantly more detailed pictures and increases the exposure of night shots without increasing the color noise and without blurring the image.

To date, the Pixel 3 smartphone is ranked 15th in the DXO Mark Lab. The camera's main camera has a resolution of 12.2 MP and brightness of F / 1.8.
